Starting from Pilismarót on the Danube, we visit a less visited corner of the Visegrád Mountains. We penetrate into the interior of the mountain range through the Miklós-deák valley, dotted with lakes, and then climb up to the Hirsch hill with its beautiful views. After reaching the Upper Ecset Hill, we descend to the Hoffmann hut for a magnificent panorama of Pilisszentlélek, then take a counter-climb to the Szakó hut, from where we take a long hike back to the village via the Szakó Hill with its partial views. The hike is 15.4 km long and takes about 5 hours. Of the 3 springs involved, the Hoffmann well is suitable for water abstraction.
